Birth Help Classes
Birth Help offers a Natural Birth Series and Comfort Measures Class. When possible, it is best to participate in our Natural Childbirth Series, followed by Comfort Measures Class.
Which classes should I take?
Natural Birth Series offers foundational information for understanding labor and birth, natural childbirth, preparing for labor pain, pain management, the partner's role, and creating your best birth. $175
Comfort Measures helps women and their partners learn and practice a variety of coping techniques, comfort measures and practice hands-on techniques. $50
When should I register?
Birth Help has been offering classes in Baton Rouge since 1991 and has an excellent reputation for quality instruction, so early registration (around 20 weeks) is recommended for all classes. Space is limited to allow personal interaction and discussions, and often classes fill in advance.
Most couples schedule classes that end one to three months before their baby’s due date to allow time for processing what they've learned, practicing comfort measures, additional research, reading, and creating their birth plan.
Please visit the page of the class you're interested in for more information and registration. Rene' is happy to answer any questions and help with your choices. If a scheduled class is filled, please contact Rene'.
The class fee, less an administrative fee (NCB $40, CM $25), will be issued until 7 days before the beginning date of any class. Refund requests must be in writing via email
