"I was anticipating having back labor since the midwife had just confirmed that the baby was still posterior; however, when labor began I was not sure how long I would be able to stand that kind of pain. When Rene’ Johnson, our doula, recommended I visit Dr. Cathy, I was skeptical at first having never been to see a chiropractor before, but I was willing to try anything!

Upon arrival Dr. Cathy greeted me in the reception area and immediately noticed I was favoring one side. She asked my husband to accompany me into the exam room.  She thoroughly explained everything from how the table would properly support me to what she would be doing for the adjustment and how it should help relieve some pressure.

After she completed the adjustment she took the time to sit with us and demonstrate some stretches I could do throughout labor to help with the pain. She also demonstrated and worked with my husband on some things he could do to help relieve some of the pressure on my back.

Before leaving her office she told us to call with any questions about the stretches. Dr. Cathy was very professional and was very attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend Dr. Cathy.  She is excellent!"
